Accessibility Statement
Last updated 25 March 2026
Our Commitment
Manaia Tech Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that everyone deserves to protect their household online, regardless of disability. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across all of our digital properties, consistent with the Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
What We Do
To help ensure accessibility, we take the following measures:
- Use semantic HTML elements and ARIA attributes where appropriate
- Provide sufficient colour contrast ratios (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
- Ensure all interactive elements are keyboard navigable
- Provide text alternatives for non-text content
- Use accessible component primitives from the Radix UI library
- Support screen readers with appropriate labelling and landmark regions
- Ensure the interface is usable at up to 200% zoom
- Avoid content that flashes more than three times per second
Scope
This statement applies to the following Manaia digital properties:
- manaia.io — main website
- app.manaia.io — consumer dashboard
- auth.manaia.io — authentication gateway
- Manaia iOS application
- Manaia Android application
Known Limitations
While we strive for full conformance, we are aware of the following areas where we are working to improve accessibility:
- Some interactive charts and data visualisations in the dashboard may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide text-based alternatives where possible.
- PDF reports (monthly scorecards) may have limited accessibility. We are working to improve the structure and tagging of generated PDFs.
- Some third-party embedded content (e.g. Stripe checkout) is outside our direct control. We work with these providers to encourage accessibility improvements.
We are actively working to address these limitations. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, please let us know (see below).
