Common questions
Can I change plans later?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your dashboard. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No contracts. Monthly plans cancel anytime. Annual plans are paid upfront and you keep access for the full year. If you have a Home Lite instalment plan, the remaining device balance is due on cancellation.
What happens during the 14-day trial?
You get full Guardian Pro access for 14 days. No credit card required. At the end of the trial, pick any plan — or do nothing and your account pauses.
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored in Australia (Sydney and Melbourne data centres). We never sell your data to third parties.
Do I need Home Lite?
Not to get started. The Manaia app protects each device it’s installed on. Home Lite is an optional add-on that covers your entire home network — including smart TVs, consoles, and IoT devices that can’t run apps.
Can I protect my parents’ home too?
Yes. Each household needs its own plan. Add an Duo / Elder Protect plan for your parent’s home and manage it from your phone. If they want whole-home coverage, they’ll need their own Home Lite device too.
How does the referral programme work?
Every paid subscriber gets a unique referral code (find it in your dashboard). Share it with friends — when they subscribe, you both get one free month. The credit is applied automatically to your next billing cycle. There’s no limit to how many people you can refer.
